An honest update from Ukrainian Elite Cleaning: the reasons we moved every residential and office service to flat per-visit tier pricing in May 2026, and what it means for clients.

Effective May 2026, every Ukrainian Elite Cleaning residential and office service is priced flat per visit, scaled by home/office size. The shift away from hourly was driven by client feedback: 80% wanted to know the number before the team arrived. Post-construction stays on quote-on-inspection because scope swings too wildly to tier.
For the first two years, every Ukrainian Elite Cleaning service was billed hourly per cleaner. We chose that model because it's the most honest way to handle unpredictable home-by-home variance. As the business matured and our team got faster with recurring clients, the variance shrank — and the hourly model started looking like overhead noise rather than fairness.
What we heard from clients
By early 2026, the four most-common questions on quote calls were variations of "so what's the actual total?" Clients wanted to budget. Hourly + estimated hours made that mental math nontrivial. A flat tier removes the math entirely — you see the number, you book, the team arrives.
What changed in the pricing
- Standard recurring clean — flat per visit, sized by bedrooms (1bd $120, up to 4bd $240–$320)
- Deep clean and move-in/move-out — same tier band ($185–$455 by bedroom count)
- Office cleaning — sized by square footage ($180–$450)
- Airbnb turnover — same tier as standard residential, capped at 3 bedrooms
- Post-construction — stays on quote-on-inspection (scope variance too wide for a tier)

Frequently asked
- Did anything go up in price?
- Slightly for some tier+frequency combinations, slightly down for others. Recurring 1-bed/1-bath clients saw a small decrease; first-time deep cleans on 4-bed homes saw a small increase. Net effect across all clients: roughly neutral.
- What if I'm a long-term client and the new tier is more expensive than what I've been paying?
- We honoured your existing rate for 2026 and we'll discuss the 2027 rate individually before applying it. No surprise charges.
- Can I still get an hourly quote for an unusual job?
- Yes — for one-offs that don't fit any tier (storage unit cleanup, garage clear-out, post-event resets), we quote hourly. Just ask.
- Why didn't post-construction move to flat?
- Scope variance is too wide. The same 1,500 sq ft condo finish can be 8 hours or 18 hours depending on how the trades left the site. We walk it, quote a fixed number, then start. The fixed number behaves like a tier — predictable for the client — but we couldn't pre-tier it.
